Mindset matters - 2017 Film festival entry

Have you heard of the saying "you are what you eat?" or what about "you are what you think?"

Lots of people believe that the thoughts you think affect the things you can do.

Another quote that spreads this message is "whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right!"

A growth mindset, seeing failure as a setback and an opportunity to learn rather than as something that is final, is something that really takes a lot of practice! In Hub Awhio, we try to remind each other that attitude is a small thing that can make a big difference in both our learning and in our lives every single day!

So what are you going to tell yourself today?

  2. Hello guys that was a really great film. My favourite part of the film was when the boy in the glasses had powers to travel in time to the the lonely boy to make him happy. Well done.

  4. Kia Orana LH5,
I really enjoyed watching your movie! Don't worry, at times I am like that but my friends are always cheerful and supportive which makes me believe in myself. It is always wonderful seeing students connecting with each other and creating that special bond that helps one another. How long did it take for you to plan this wonderful movie?

My name is Angel Temu from Glen Innes School and once I had laid eyes on your movie I thought closely about mindset matters which I believe everyone should not quit or give up on something they shouldn't.

But as my personal experience I had really enjoyed your movie on how it was presented because it showed emotions that includes supporting and positively, but keep up the great work stonefield hoping to see bigger things.
